It's like buttar...

Yesterday in the Hindustan Times on the front page was none other than my main man Shahid Buttar. He recently completed a tour in Pakistan and India.

The project was named Shanti Salaam (http://www.shantisalaam.org/). The project assembled artists, educators, musicians and human rights activists from around the region with the goal of exploring intercultural understanding and build solutions to violence both across and within borders through 1.) conscious poetry; 2.) public speaking engagements; 3.) street diplomacy; 4.) independent journalism, including the compilation of a documentary; and 5.) interactive workshops.
